Walk with God

This word of the Lord was given to me 6 times over a year from 2/8/2023 to 3/20/2024.

Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, is facing 3 armies coming against Judah.

Jehoshaphat decided to inquire of the Lord. He proclaimed a fast to all of Judah & stood up in the assembly of Judah & Jerusalem & proceeded to ask the Lord to save them.

As you read this chapter you will see that the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob, fought for the armies & people of Judah & Jerusalem.

This is the word that Jahaziel, a Levite & descendent of Asaph, received from the Lord to give to Jehoshaphat & the assembly.

15 He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”

Last night in reading this word that God gave me again when I asked Him what I needed to do about this coming judgement He is getting ready to pass on our nation these things stood out to me clearer than the last 5 times I received this word. They are as follows;

1 Trust in the Lord

2 Begin fasting (v3)

3 “Do not be afraid or discouraged for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” (v15)

4 Worship the Lord. Bow down & worship the Lord. (v18)

5 Believe in the Lord our God & we will be able to stand firm. (v20)

6 Believe in His prophets, & we will succeed. (v21)

7 “Give thanks to the Lord: His faithful love endures forever.” (v21)

8 Praise & thank the Lord. (v26)

9 Be overjoyed that the Lord has given us victory over our enemies. (v27)

10 Be at peace & enjoy the rest that God is giving us. (v29)

These are things that we can do to fight the enemy in this spiritual war.
