New Living Translation (NLT)
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
I desire you more than anything on earth.
26 My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,
but God remains the strength of my heart;
he is mine forever.
27 Those who desert him will perish,
for you destroy those who abandon you.
28 But as for me, how good it is to be near God!
I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter,
and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.
In Your Embrace
My deepest desire
Is not to win life’s race,
But to find myself again
Within your warm embrace,
Having run so long without you,
I long to feel your gentle touch,
To know again that perfect love
I’ve been missing so very much,
It comforts when I’m troubled,
It lifts me when I’m down,
I find you right beside me
When no one else will come around,
And in the evening when I slumber
And my dreams are dark and dank,
It’s you whose touch revives me,
It’s you that I must thank,
So take the world and all it’s worth,
Every nickel, every dime,
I won’t need a single penny
If I have this embrace divine.

You are the treasure to be found. You are the only desire of our hearts. Were it not for You there would be no love at all. Carry us, Lord, in the cradle of Your loving arms.
