Don’t Get Left Out in the Cold

Romans 10:14-15
New Living Translation (NLT)

14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

Who Will Go?

I am numb!
Bitterness has taken its toll,
And left me here all alone
With nothing but an empty soul,

Too weak to care,
Too tired to stand and fight,
No more tears left to cry
About my hopeless plight,

If there were but a chance
To end this frigid fate,
I’d grab hold of life once again
And end my sorry state,

I hear there is a god above
That cares for you and me,
If it’s true I would not wait
To pray he’d set me free,

But I do not know the way,
I do not know just how,
Must I be a better man
To appeal to him somehow?

Please come to me with the cure
If you know what I should do,
Time is running oh so short
For me to start anew

Father,

Send forth Your laborers to the field for the harvest is great. Be with us and direct our path. Guide us to the purpose for which we are called. Thank You!
