Blessed With Proxy

Luke 15:22-24
New Living Translation (NLT)

22 “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. 23 And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, 24 for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.

I Wear His Ring

I saw Him on the dusty road
Racing toward me at full speed
And before I ever said a word
He provided me with all I’d need

A signet ring He placed on me
Which I did not deserve
Then lavished me with robe and shoes
And love without reserve

He called out for a party
A celebration beyond compare
With servants fixing food and drink
He announced I was His heir

So do not try and tell me
That my Father above is full of hate
He sent His only Son to die for me
So that He might forgive and reinstate

So I lift my hands and sing this praise
To God who sits on high
Thank You for sending Jesus
So that I would not surely die
