Without a Doubt

Believe

Matthew 21:21-22
New Living Translation (NLT)

21 Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. 22 You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

If…

If I do believe
Then it’s more than what I say
I must have no doubt

Father,

Please build our faith. Make it a wall of protection around us, a refuge of comfort within us, and a tower of strength that we may use to proclaim Your love. Thank You for healing us all.

  1. I like the nuance the Mark 11:23 version of this verse brings out: we must not have doubt “IN OUR HEART”. Even tg
though we may have times of doubt in our heads, if we will tell our minds to be quiet and just listen to that inner knowing we have somewhere down deep inside, with no doubt IN OUR HEARTS, then it WILL happen!.

But then adding “have no doubt in my heart” would mess up your haiku, wouldn’t it! 🙂

  2. You don’t add it it to the comments. You just publish a new post (it nust be a new, previously unpublished post) that includes a link to the daily prompt in your post and it automatically goes to the comments in what WordPress calls a “pingback”.

For example, this is the link for the “believe” daily prompt:

    Happy blogging!
