Transforming the soul

Father,

Your miracles are many, from parting the sea to mending the lost souls of humanity. Let all of Heaven and Earth sing Your praises for mighty is our Lord, who creates the stars and heals the sick. Thank You so much for every blessing.

  1. As our paths intersect, I enjoy taking an interest in your blog. I appreciate your art, as the art in your post reminds me of a home computer when I was a boy. May I ask who are the lost souls of humanity?

    • We are all the “lost souls” if we believe not that God the Father sent Jesus and that He was resurrected (Jesus came and became a sacrifice for us, took on our sin, healed us with His stripes). But if we believe this, then God promises to save us from death also. Romans, chapter 10 explains it much better than I can. I can only profess to be a believer, not a great teacher. That’s all Jesus asks anyway – to go tell about this, not go and be a great teller. It’s always God who moves mankind to belief, not another man. Hope this answers your question, if not, tell me and I’ll try again. In the poem what I hoped to express was the seemingly great difference in creating the universe and in what might seem a small thing – saving lost souls ( we would hardly seem worth the effort) but it’s God utterly vast and enormous love that makes our salvation so spectacular. Imagine the power of creating stars and galaxies beyond number. It’s mind-boggling, but now think, imagine…what unbelievable humility must God possess to care for us so much that He would have Jesus come to offer us a way to be made right with Him. Sorry, I got a little carried away. That was probably WAY more explanation than you wanted.
