Where does it hurt?

Matthew 11:28-30
New International Version (NIV)

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Are you feeling “prickly” yet? Having that annoying little pain in your neck? Most of us do and with good reason…the world is going mad.

2 Timothy 3:1-5
New International Version (NIV)

3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Be with us in these days. Call to us and keep us on the path of righteousness. It would seem that the whole world is turned upside down but You are still in control. Touch each person that reads this prayer. If they need healing then perform a miracle in their lives. If they need resources then bless them with jobs or send someone to help them. If they feel alone help us to reach out to them as though they were You. Bless us all with Your presence so we will not lose hope or direction.

We thank You for everything, for through everything You change us and make us anew.
