What Will Blossom?

Dandelon jess

Isaiah 27:6
New International Version (NIV)

6 In days to come Jacob will take root,
Israel will bud and blossom
and fill all the world with fruit.

Be Careful What You’ve Planted

Every flower will someday blossom
And put on a delightful show
With buds that hold our attention
And fragrances the wind will blow

But be careful what you’ve planted
Be sure it’s what you think
Is it sweet or is it bitter
What will you have to drink?

There are plants that are delightful
Worth all the work they require
But weeds bloom just as pretty
In the thicket and the mire

So be careful what you’ve planted
Be sure it’s what you think
Is it sweet or is it bitter
What will you have to drink?

And when you’ve worked the field so hard
For days and days on end
Will the harvest make you happy
Or will it just offend?

Oh my, be so very careful what you’ve planted
Be sure it’s what you think
Is it sweet or is it bitter
What will you have to drink?

Father,

The days are approaching when we will stand before Your throne. Please let mercy and grace blossom. There is no other fragrance that will save us from the sting of judgment.

Thank You for sending Jesus, may He blossom in every heart. Amen!
