Paragon of Oneness

John 14:9
New International Version (NIV)

9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

In 1998, scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) came up with a new method to make a “perfect” mirror that heretofore was believed impossible. You can read about this at: http://phys.lsu.edu/~jdowling/mit.html
This perfection had eluded the scientific world until a student came up with what was a simple method for making the elusive mirror. It opened up many possible applications in various fields.

It can be difficult to come up with the perfect representation of something. Jesus tells us above; however, that if we have seen Him then we have seen the Father. What an amazing thought. What do you see when you look at Jesus?

Father,

Thank You for sending Jesus. Thank You for caring. We know You care because of what we see in the person of Jesus. A humble and loving Son of God who came to earth when He could have stayed in heaven and who spent His life preaching truth and healing multitudes of people. Who offered Himself as a sin offering for anyone who would simply believe that the You sent Him and raised him from the dead. He is the perfect paragon of You and of righteousness. We thank You in His name for Your perfect love. Amen.
